Despite being "centrally located near the antiques area and furniture markets", this "utilitarian" hotel has "surprisingly outdated" decor, "rumpled carpet", "cheap, itchy bedding" and "musty" smelling rooms; though it's small comfort for the "lack of appeal", at least "the staff is attentive, unobtrusive and willing to make things right" when possible.

Convenient, good price and was comfortable.
Paying for parking.
Good clean hotel in city center. Hotel kitchen is sometimes very slow and if you decide to walk to get food (pizza) bring cash with you..

I liked the sleep number beds.
You had to pay to park in the parking lot.
Hotel was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I really enjoyed the sleep number beds.

Free internet in room, comfortable, and a helpful staff.
$5 to pay for parking in garage but very convenient.
Very nicely maintained hotel with a very friendly staff. Not usually happy with hotel restaurants but this was an exception. Very good food at a reasonable price. I will seek this hotel out when returning to High Point for furniture shopping. ...read more

The staff tried to accommodate all the requests I made.
No continental breakfast included, no parking lot, and the Coke machine was $1.50 per can.
Pillows were great but number bed wasn't that comfortable. Room was fine and had all the amenities I would want. Elevators worked well. It was quiet.

Poor location advertised as near Greensboro. It is too far away. It was not a 3.5 star place 2.5-3.0 is more accurate.

The bed in the hotel was wonderful.
Did not like that the continental breakfast was not free and was not worth the money.
The only problem with the hotel was that it cost me $13 for 2 people at the breakfast and they didn't let you know before you walked in and ate, that it would cost. Also woke up in the middle of the night and there was a cockroach on the nightstand, but we were compensated for that. ...read more
